Yup, this is where it started. I got my tax number in 2001, started buying shop equipment in 2002, registered my DBA in 2004?, and quit my day gig at Hoover in 2007. Of the gear shown in this photo, most all of it was moved to the Bloomington shop, and then back home as equipment was upgraded.
In a way I miss working at home... but moving the business to Bloomington was a step up. (And the city of Minneapolis gave me some line about "zoning" so it was move or close shop.)
